2.Bharata   told   Rama   that   his   mother   was   gratified   when   he   bestowed   the   kingdom   to   him.   He   firther   said   that   he   gives   it   back   to   Ramain   the   same   way   Rama   conferred   to   him.

3.Bharata   told   Rama   that   like   a   young   ox   is   unable   to   bear   a   load   borne   by   an   exceptionally   strong   bull   he   is   unable   to   bear   the   heavy   burden   alone.

4.Bharata   told   Rama   that   just   like   protection   of   a   dam   broken   and   dissolving   by   an   onrush   of   water,   he   believed   that   the   vulnerabe   administration   of   the   country   is   difficult   to   protect.

5.Bharata   told   Rama,   the   scourge   of   enemies,   that   like   a   donkey   cannot   gallop   like   a   horse   or   a   crow   cannot   equal   the   flight   of   a   swan,   he   is   unable   to   follow   the   footsteps   of   Rama.

6,7,8.Bharata   told   the   mighty   armed   and   ruler   of   men,   Rama,   that   if   a   tree   planted   in   a   house   grown   immense   and     difficult   to   climb   with   a   huge   trunk   and   big   branches   dries   up   after   flowering   without   yeilding   fruit,   the   one   who   planted   it   would   not   realise   the   result   of   the   purpose   for   which   it   was   planted.   This   analogy   Rama   should   know   if   he   does   not   rule   his   devoted   servants.

10.Bharata   told   Rama,   a   scion   of   Raghu   that   make   he   wake   up   daily   to   the   sounds   of   musical   instruments   like   veena,     flute   etc,   to   the   tinkling   of   ornaments   strung   with   tiny   bells   and   the   sounds   of   singing   also.
