11   to   17.Sage   Bharadwaja   told   Rama,   a   lover   of   virtue,   that   he   knew   about   the   the   killings   carried   out   in   the   huge   Janasthana,   protecting   all   ascetics   with   devotion   for   the   sake   of   Brahmanas,   the   abduction   of   his   blemishless   consort   by   Ravana,   sighting   of   Marica,   his   great   grief   on   the   abduction   of   Sita,   sighting   of   Kabhanda   and   arrival   in   Pampa,   his   friendship   with   Sugriva,   killing   of   Vali   by   him,   searching   for   Sita,   a   princess   of   Videha,   the   exploits   of   Hanuman,   the   son   of   Wind   god,   having   traced   Sita,   a   princess   of   Videha   building   of   a   bridgeby   Nala,   how   Lanka   was   burnt   by   the   rejoiced   commanders   of   monkeys,   how   Ravana,   a   thorn   in   the   side   of   gods   was   killed   alongwith   his   sons,   kinsfolk,   ministers,   army   and   vehicles,   how   he   met   the   gods   and   the   boon   conferred   on   him   by   the   gods   were   all   known   to   him   by   virtue   of   asceticism.   Also   the   sage   said   that   his   disciples   go   to   the   city   of   Ayodhya   from   there   and   conveying   news   of   happenings   there.

18.Sage   Bharadwaja   told   Rama,   the   best   among   those   who   carry   weapon,   that   he   will   also   confer   a   boon   to   him.

19.Sage   Bharadwaja   told   Rama   to   accept   the   water   for   washing   hands   and   he   should   go   to   Ayodhya   the   next   day.

20.The   prince   Rama,   highly   delighted   bowing   to   the   above   command   with   his   head   bent   low   saying   'let   it   be   so'   asked   the   highly   intelligent   Sage   for   the   following   boon.
