1,2,3.That   charioteer   feeling   delighted   quickly   drove   forward   the   chariot   of   Ravana,   the   chariot   capable   of   crushimg   the   enemy's   army,   like   the   city   of   gandharvas,   with   lofty   pennons,   drawn   by   horses   richly   endowed   gold   necklaces,   filled   with   weapons   of   war,   adorned   with   rows   of   flags   and   pennons,   swallowing   the   space   as   it   were,   making   the   earth   resound   with   its   sound,   the   doom   of   enemy   armies   and   immense   joy   for   its   own   army.

5   to   8.Rama,   saw   the   chariot   of   Ravana   drawn   by   dark   horses,   with   a   dreadful   lustre,   shining   like   an   aerial   car   in   the   sky,   bright   as   the   sun,   with   flags   like   lightning,   displaying   arms   like   the   arms   of   Indra,   releasing   a   shower   of   arrows   like   a   cloud   releasing   rain   showers   and   with   the   sound   of   a   bursting   mountain   struck   by   the   thunderbolt,   stretched   his   bow   looking   like   a   crescent   moon   and   spoke   Matali,   the   charioteer   of   Indra   with   thousand   eyes.
