6.The   excited   rakshasas   on   hearing   Ravana's   orders   began   to   cover   the   monkey's   tail   with torn   cloth   made   of   cotton.

7.As   his   tail   was   that   being   wrapped   by   cloth,   the   great   monkey   increased   it   to   an   enormous size,   like   a   spark   of   fire   that   augments   into   fire   on   coming   into   contact   with   dry   sticks in   the   forest.   Then   the   rakshasas   soaked   the   cloth   with   oil   and   set   it   on   fire.

9.Hanuman   with   a   luminous   face   like   the   sun,   and   who   was   very   angry,   began
to   strike   the   Rakshasas   with   his   burning   tail.

10.Thereupon,   that   gathering   of   cruel   Rakshasas   tied   the   monkey.   Hanuman   began   to
think   within   himself   about   what   appropriate   action   he   should   take.
