great   Arcisman   who   was   surrounded   by   the   best   among   monkeys,   as   effugent   as   Indra,   who   was   endowed   with   intellugence   and   prowess   and   equal   in   splendour   to   Garuda,   as   well   as   the   sons   of   Marici   known   as   Maricas,   the   Arcimalas   with   great   might   and   all   the   sons   of   the   sages.

6,7,8.Sugriva   told   them   to   explore   the   territories   of   Saurashtra,   Bahlika,   Sura,
Bhima,   the   beautiful   prosperous   territories,   large   towns,   the   territory   of   Kukshi
dense   with   Punnaga   trees,   teeming   with   bakula   and   Uddalaka   trees,   thickets   of
Ketaka   shrubs,   the   auspicious   rivers   which   run   westwards   with   cool   waters,
the   penance   groves   of   ascetics   and   all   those   mountains   and   forests.

9,10.Sugriva   told   them   that   there   are   uncultivated   lands   mostly   deserts   and
very   high   mountains.   Having   searched   the   western   direction   covered   with   a
mountains   which   is   difficult   of   access   and   going   further   west   they   should
visit   the   sea   with   deep   water   and   full   of   whales   and   crocodiles.
