the following words |
1 to 8.Hanuman,
perceiving the sky to be
clear and free from lightning
and
clouds and
filled with the sounds
made by birds and illumined
by charming
moon light,
seeing that Sugriva having
achieved his objective tardy
in
acquiring fortune
and religious merit, taken
to the path of unworthy
and set
his mind
on privacy, that having
acheived his intended objective,
he delighted in the company
of women having got his
wife and Tara also, he
was revelling day and night
with no worries and was
diverting himself like Indra
does with a group of
celestial nymphs, having entrusted
the administration to his
ministers did not keep
an eye on them and
had become licentious as
the danger to his kingdom
had ceased, who knew the
tenor of the sacred books
and knew what ought to
be done and which should
not be done and the
special duties on a particular
occasion, adept in expression,
approached Sugriva, who understood
the truth underlying what
was said to him, full
of love and definite about
Hanuman's trust worthiness, and
having propitiated him with
various reasoned expressions pleasing
to the mind, Hanuman addressed
Sugriva with the following
friendly, truthful and wholesome
words which were persuasive,
righteous, full of meaning
and prudent.
