2,3,4.Sugriva   told   Rama   that   Hanuman,   who   is   the   best   among   his
ministers,   has   informed   him   about   the   purpose   for   which   Rama   has    come   to   the   uninhabited   forest;   while   living   in   the   forest   with   Lakshmana   an   ogre
waiting   for   an   opportune   moment   when   Sita   was   separated   from   both   of
them,   abducted   her   after   killing   the   vulture   Jatayu.

5.Sugriva   told   Rama   that   he   will   cast   away   the   agony   arising   from   pangs   of
separation   from   his   consort   before   long   for   Sugriva   will   bring   Sita   back
like   the   lost   vedic   texts   were   recovered   which   were   stolen.

7,8.Sugriva   told   Rama   that   the   words   uttered   by   him   should   be   taken   as
true   and   that   Rama's   consort   is   beyond   harm   by   even   by   the   gods   and
demons   together   with   Indra   any   more   than   a   food   cooked   with   poison
which   cannot   be   digested.

9,10.Sugriva   told   Rama   that   by   inference   he   understand   that   Sita   was   seen
by   him   when   she   was   being   abducted   by   Ravana   crying   in   a   piteous   voice
'Rama,   Rama'   and   'Lakshmana',   wriggling   on   the   lap   of   Ravana   like   the
consort   of   the   King   of   serpents   and   he   had   no   doubt   about   it   and   he   will
bring   her   back   and   asked   Rama   to   cast   away   grief.
