like the palace of Kubera
(the Lord of wealth) and
enjoyed themselves in private (17-18).

and exalted ones, those
princes shone
without a second in valour,

all luxury and prosperity, having
gained excellent companions, having
mastered all rules of administration
and governance, gladdening the heart
of the father (the preceptor)
from time to time owing
to their way of life
and remaining at the service of their father,
spent their time happily
(19-20).
