Blessed by
Chyavana, when she prostrated
before him, that princess, scintillatingly
brilliant like the flash
of lightning, though afflicted
through the death of her
husband and even when her
husband Asita was in the
heavenly world, having dedicated her

hence a chaste one, the
chief queen of the king
and the extremely fortunate one,
gave birth to a son
(36-37).

of destroying her conception,

born along with that poison
and for that reason, he
was known as `Sagara' (38).
