austerities at Pushkara
on the banks
of river Visala, which is

the superior penance grove

foremost among sages, having said
so, engaged in severe penance
at Pushkara, where there

thieved by Indra, alas!
When the animal was lost
thus, the priest told the
king as hereunder (6).

been stolen. It has disappeared

king of great wisdom set
