Thereafter   Viswamitra   discharged   the   arrows   known   by
the   names   Manava,   Mohana,   Swapana,   Jrimbhana,Madana,
Santapana,   Vilapana,   Soshana,   Daruna,   the   difficult   to
quell   Vajra,   the   nooses   of   Brahma,   Lord   Yama   and   that   of
Varuna,   the   arrows   called   Pinaka   which   would   achieve   the
target,   both   the   drying   and   the   wetting   weapons,   the   thunderbolt,
Danda,   Paisacha,   Krauncha,   the   wheels   known   as   Dharma,   Kala,
Vishnu,   the   arrows   known   as   Vayavya,   Mathana,   Hayasiras,
and   such   arrows   (7-10).
