Having   heard   those   words   of   the   wise   Viswamitra,
Satananda   of   great   penance,of   great   effulgence   and   the
eldest   son   of   Gautama,   resplendent   due   to   the   observance
of   intense   austerities,   becoming   horripulated   at   the
very   sight   of   Rama,   grew   greatly   astonished   and   curious   (1-2).
