In   the   company   of   Lakshmana,   having   listened   to   the   words
of   Viswamitra,being   greatly   wonder-struck,   Raghava   spoke   the
following   to   Viswamitra   (1).

great   sage   Viswamitra   (5).

Having   come   to   know   your   Holiness   having   come   here,   this   ferry
with   comfortable   seats   have   been   fetched   thither   post-haste
by   those   sages   of   holy   deeds,   (using   which   )   may   we   ford
this   superior   and   sacred   river,   which   runs   in   three   courses'   (7).

Having   got   to   the   northern   bank   and   worshipped   the   groups
of   sages   there,   sitting   down   on   the   banks   of   the   river   Ganga,
they   sighted   the   city   of   (wide   dimensions)   Visala   (9).

Then   and   there,   seeing   that   beautiful   city   of   Visala,   comparable
to   the   celestial   city,   that   best   among   sages   quickly   set   out
