O!   Delight   of   the   Raghu   race!   King   Sagara,   finding   that his
sons   had   been   gone   for   long,   spoke   thus   to   his   grandson,
who   was   radiant,   on   his   own   (1).

and   equal   to   your   forbears   in   effulgence.   May   you   ascertain
about   the   present   state   of   your   fathers   and   find   out   the   one
who has   stolen   the   (sacrificial)   horse   (2).

Those   beings   living   within   the   earth   are   very   strong   and
large-sized. Hence,   to   deal   with   them,   you   should   arm   yourself
with   a   bow, fitted   with   a   sword   (3).

those   words   of   Ansuman   replied   with   pleasing   words:`O!
Amsuman! You   will   return   soon,   having   accomplished   the
task   and   having retrieved   the   horse'   (9).
