the daughter of the king of mountains |
This Ganga,
who is the elder daughter
of the king of mountains
and who has ascended to
the heaven is going to respect
that son who is going to
be the commander-in-chief of
the celestial forces and who
would annihilate the foes of
gods. He is going to
be born in a woman
of glory and fame equal to
Ganga, through the god of fire.
That will be acceptable to
Uma also. There is no
doubt about it (8-9).
