`O!   Lord!   Best   among   sages!   Having   been   bestowed   with   arrows, missiles   etc,   I   have   now   become   invincible   even   by   the   gods.   I am desirous   of   knowing   the   art   and   science   of   effecting   withdrawal also   of   the   weapons   etc,   once   discharged   (2).

`O!   Rama!   Scion   of   the   Raghu   race!   May   you   receive   from   me, who   is   fit   to   do   so,   knowledge   in   the   undermentioned   branches   of learning   in   weaponry,   which   will   be   of   great   use   to   you:   Satyavrat, Satyakirti,Dhrusta,   Rabhasa,   Pratiharatara,   the   famous   Pavanamukha, Lakshakshara,Vikrama,   Dhridhanabha,   Sunabha,   Dasaksha,   Satavaktra, Dasasirsha,   Satodara,   Padmanabha,   Mahanabha,   Dundunabha,   Surabhaka, Jyotisha,Krithana,   Nairasya,   Vimala,   the  demon-depressing Yogandhara  and   Vinidra,   Suchi,   Bahu,   Mahabahu,   Nishkuli, Viruci,   Sarchimali,Dhritimali, both   Vrithiman   and   Ruchira,   Vidhuta and   Makara,   Pitrusaumanasa,   Karaviraka,   Dana   and   Dhanya, Kamarupa,   Kamaruci,   Mohana,   Marana,   Jrimbhaka,   Sarvanabha, Sandhana   and   Varuna   and   the   radiant   products of   Brisasva,   capable of   assuming   any   form   at   will'   (4-10).
