In the physical
form of apes, may you
be the progenitors of those
sons who have known about
trickery, who are valiant,
comparable to the wind in
velocity, well-versed in codes
of conduct, wise, equal in
valour to Lord Vishnu, aware
of the ways to invincibility,
equal to the gods in
strength, having mastered all the
secrets of arrows, equal to
those who had consumed ambrosia
and of fitting courageous
disposition in the womenfolk belonging
to Apsara, Gandharva, Yaksa,
Serpent, bears, Vidhyadhara, Kinnara and
the ape species (3-6).
Note: Apsaras,
Gandharvas etc, are different
classes of semi-divine beings.
