Thereafter,   arising   from   the   (sacrificial)   fire   of   the   house-holder
(king Dasaratha),   the   holy   spirit,   which   was   brilliant   without   a   parallel, greatly   mighty,   extremely   powerful,   dark-complexioned,   clad
in   red garments,   possessed   of   a   reddish   mouth,   making   sound   rivalling   the   celestial base-drum,   with   densely   grown   hairs,whiskers   and   excellent   tresses   like a   lion,   exhibiting   auspicious   insignia,
decked   with   divine   ornaments,   tall like   the   peak   of   a   mountain,   majestic   like  a  full-grown   tiger,   with   a shining   body   like   the   Sun,   scintillating   like   the   blazing   fire,  of very large   composition,   shoulders   resembling   those   of   a   lion,   of   long   arms,decorated   with   a  pair of   shoulder   bands,   effulgent   with   a   garland   on   the chest   and   emitting   the   glow   like   the   lunar   disc,   resplendent   with glistening   teeth  white   like   the   moon,   appearing   as   if   brilliantly   shining,dazzling   due  to the   brilliance   of   these,   carrying   a   wondrous   large   golden vesse, this   container   having   the   shine   of   molten   gold   and   its   lid   made   of   silver,on   his   shoulder,   like   carrying   the   beloved   wife,   which   was filled   with   celestial   porridge,   attentively   looking at   king   Dasaratha, uttered   the   following   words:   `O!   King!   May you  know  me, having come here,as  the   messenger   of   Lord   Brahma'   (11-18).

Thereupon,  the  king   with   folded   hands   then   replied: `O!  Lord! (a   hearty)
welcome   to   you!   What   is   it   that   I   shall   do   for   you?'   (19).
