Even   in   that   state   of   agony,   having   performed   the   obsequies   for   the   vulture Jatayu   and   searching   for   Sita   in   the   forest   around,   (Rama)   came   upon the   demon   Kabandha,   whose   appearance   was   horrible   and   unnatural   (52-53).
