21.Dasaratha   requests   Kaikeyi   to   do   a   favour   to   him   because   of   his   age   and

22.Dasaratha   says   that   the   promises   were   made   not   to   be   broken.   However   he  
requests   Kaikeyi   to   show   kindness   to   him   as   she   knows   his   difficulties.

25.Dasaratha's   words   carried   moral   force   and   were   logical.   But   the   hard   hearted

26.Dasaratha   finally   realising   the   futility   of   appeasing   Kaikeyi   and   thinking   how   to  
send   Rama   to   forest,   fell   unconscious   on   the   bare   floor.
