12   to   15.Rama,   tormented   by   pangs   of   love   for   Sita,   surveying   the   forest
with   big   trees   with   bunches   of   flower,   rendered   noisy   by   the   pelicans,
peacocks,   cranes,   sparrows   and   many   other   species   of   birds,   seeing
many   varities   of   trees   and   lakes   reached   the   excellent   lake   which   drew
water   from   far,   bathed   in   a   pool   matangasaras   by   name   and   thereafter
both   Rama   and   Lakshmana   went   ahead   unruffled   and   composed.

16   to   25.Rama   overcome   with   grief   entered   the   lotus   pond   which   was
covered   with   lotuses,   looked   charming   with   tilaka,   asoka,   punnaga,   bakula
and   uddala   trees,   with   lovely   groves,   crystal   clear   water   covered   with
lotuses,   with   bed   of   soft   sand,   full   of   fishes   and   turtles,   adorned   with   trees
on   its   bank,   surrounded   by   creepers   looking   as   if   united   with   its   female
companion,   visited   by   kinnaras,   uragas,   gandharvas,   yakshas   and   ogres,
surrounded   by   trees   and   creepers   of   various   kinds,   looking   coppery   with
red   lotuses,   blue   with   blue   lotuses   and   white   with   lilies   presenting   the
appearance   of   a   multi   coloured   carpet,   full   of   white   and   blue   lotuses,   water
lilies,   saugandhika   flowers,   with   flowered   mango   grove,   made   noisy   with
the   cries   of   peacocks   and   reached   the   pampa   lake.   Seeiing   alongwith
Lakshmana   the   pampa   lake   adorned   with   tilaka,   bijapura,   excellent   sukla,
karavira   in   bloom,   flowered   punnaga   trees,   shribs   of   malati   and   kunda.
banyan,   nicula,   asoka,   saptaparna,   ketaka,   atimukta   trees   and   other   trees
of   various   species   looking   like   a   decorated   young   lady,   Rama   wailed.
