The rules for
visiting the holy rivers.-As
much as possible, a man
should walk to holy places.
If he is sick, he can
ride in a horse cart.
He should not display lavishness just
because he has the money. If
he carries an umbrella, he
loses a quarter of the
punya; if he wears footwear,
he loses half the punya;
and if he is carried
in a doli, he loses
all the punya. He should
not show vanity.
