Materials required :
Any object which child plays
with (Preferably bright coloured toys.)
Activity : 1
Play with child, holding an attractive
object near your face.
Gradually move away from child's
direct vision but keep holding the object against your face.
Keep talking to child as you
do so.

Slowly move the object away from
your face so that child keeps track of the object and not of your face.
Repeat till child looks only
for the object and not for your face.
Activity-2
Play with child for some time
till child responds to your actions suitably.
Show him a bright coloured toy.
Draw his attention to look at
what you are holding.
Say "Look, this is ... (name
the toy)".
After a while catch him unawares
and remove the object from his vision.
Keep holding the object away
from childs vision, but make sounds with it.

Keep object away from child's
line of vision for some time. Bring it back again. Tell him to see it.
Ask child "Where is your....(name
of toy)?
Has the crow taken it away?"
Bring it back in front of his
face.
Tell him "Look, here it is."
Give it to him to handle it
and play with it form some time.
Repeat activity keeping the
object away from his sight for a longer
period each time, so that child
looks for the object, scanning the area around him.
