4.84   The   Self   remains   hidden   for   the followers   of   these   four   schools,   obsessed   with   their   own   views. The   Lord   is   untouched by   these   and   whoever   realises   Him   becomes   omniscient.

4.90   Freeing   yourself   from   the   hold   of   the   experiences of   the   three   states   of   waking,   dream   and   deep   sleep, you   should   study   the   scriptures,   observe   silence   and
exercise   control   over   emotions,   and   concentrate   on   the attainment   of   Self-knowledge   to   the   exclusion   of   all   else.
