372-373. Only one free of attachments can give up all externals and internals, by giving up gross things externally and the ego internally.Giving up the ego is difficult but this is accomplished by the desire for liberation and by identifying with the Brahman.

374. Renunciation  and  discrimination  are  the  two  indispensable  wings  of  a  bird  that help to rise to the top of  the  house  of   liberation.

¢hbÓDm¤¢³   is alone free from bondage
m¤I³aÏmnaE   and only the free soul

375. Only a full spirit of renunciation can lead to Samadhi- this leads to understanding of Brahman, that to freedom from all bondage, and that to bliss.

376. After control of the senses, renunciation is the best way to happiness. That with knowledge of the Atman brings the Self to the individual, the door to liberation.

¢nrq¹ypr|   unshackled by the mind

377. Remove  all expectations  in  the  objects  of the senses,like  poison. Give up  all  thoughts  of caste, colour and creed, all  selfish  endeavours  all identification   with  the body, and be  established  in  the  Atman. For you are  the  seer  of  all   these, the Reality  itself.

b#'anÓdrs|   of the Bliss of Brahman

378. The target is attainable by staying quiet,indifferent to the body, with thoughts fixed on Brahman alone, and you will become one with it. And drink constantly of that bliss.

379. Give up all thought of the non-self, the cause of all misery, and think of Brahman alone, the cause of freedom.

380. This self-effulgent witness of all is manifested in the intellect sheath, and concentrate on that which stands apart from the manifest and unmanifest.
