the pure state of the Atman.

be practised constantly and when matured, the mind
is absorbed in Brahman, secures samadhi, the state
of bliss and freedom from doubt.

manifests itself without effort. With the destruction of
the mind and desires comes the realization of the Self.

369. Submit the word to the
mind; submit the thought to the intellect, then to the ego the witness,
and that to the Soul and thus attain Bliss.
Note: Take the mantra in
the mind.The mind must think;
therefore it is necessary
to give it the meaning
of a word to keep
it busy. The meaning alone
won't do. Bring forth the intellect,
the determinative faculty, and join
it with the meaning and
then with the ego. Word
enters into thought, thought
into meaning, meaning into sure
decision, this sure decision
into ego, ego into witness,
and this state cannot be
explained by another.It is like
the Polar star. It
can only be pointed out
by pointing to the nearest
point.
