16.Indrajit   who   was   always   victorious,   coming   out   of   the   city   after   pouring   oblations   into   sacred   fire   chanting   the   sacred   mantra   of   ogres,   became   invisible   and   spoke   as   follows.

17.Indrajit   told   the   ogres   that   on   that   day   he   will   kill   Rama   and   Lakshmana   who   have   been   exiled   in   vain   in   the   forest   and   will   present   the   victory   obtained   in   the   battle   to   his   father,   Ravana.

18.Indra   jit   told   the   ogres   having   rid   the   earth   of   monkeys   and   killed   Rama   and   Lakshmana   with   bring   extreme
