1.Ravana,   who   had   always   been   victorious   in   battle,   on   hearing   that   Makaraksha   was   killed   grinding   his   teeth,   was   possessed   by   violent   anger.

4.Ravana   asked   Indrajit   that   while   he   had   conquered   Indra   of   incompaable   deeds   why   he   was   not   killing   the   two   mortals   in   the   battle?

7,8.The   ogresses   having   spread   on   all   sides   of   the   fire   weapons,   blades   of   Sara   grass,   twigs   of   Bibhitaka   trees,   red   clothes,   ladle   made   of   black   iron,   reeds   and   lances   seized   the   nack   of   a   black   coloued   living   goat   and   cut   it   off.
