1.Those   ogre   hordes   who   had   survived   those   who   had   been   killed   reported   to   Ravana   hastily   about   the   foremost   of   ogres   Devakanta   and   others,   Trisira   and   Atikaya   having   been   killed.

2.Then   King   Ravana   hearing   suddenly   of   those   who   had   been   killed   despaired   and   thereafter   thinking   of   the   destruction   of   his   son   and   death   of   brothers   became   exceedingly   sad.

4.Indrajit   told   his   father,   Ravana,   not   give   way   to   despair   where   he   is   alive   and   the   enemies   will   fall   lifeless   with   body  pierced   and   shattered   by   his   arrows.

6.Indrajit   told   Ravana   that   on   that   itself   will   see   Rama   alongwith   Lakshmana   lying   dead   on   the   ground   with   their   body  pierced   and   shattered   by   his   arrows   and   covered   all   over   the   body   with   sharp   arrows.

7.Indrajit   told   Ravana   to   hear   his   fully   determined   vow   backed   by   manliness   and   divine   blessing   ie   he   will   that   day   itself  will   cover   to   the   full   extent   Rama   and   Lakshmana   with   his   arrows   that   never   miss   the   target.

8.Indrajit   told   Ravana   that   the   gods,   Indra,   Yama,   Vishnu,   Rudra,   Sadhyas,   Aswinis,   Fire,   Moon   and   Sun   will   witness  his   immeasurable   prowess   like   Lord   Vishnu's   terrible   prowess   at   the   sacrificial   altar   of   Bali.

9.The   enemy   of   Indra,   Indrajit   with   undepressed   spirit,   having   told   Ravana   as   above   and   taking   leave   ascended   his  chariot   which   was   drawn   by   mules   and   travelled   with   the   speed   of   wind.
