5.Ravana   told   the   ogres   that   all   the   supreme   penance   he   observed   had   become   infructuous   as   he   equal   to   Indra   has   been   utterly   defeated   by   a   human.

6.Ravana   told   the   ogres   that   the   cruel   words   spoken   by   Lord   Brahma   at   that   time   'know   there   is   danger   for   you   from   humans'   is   coming   true   in   his   case   as   was   spoken.

7.Ravana   told   the   ogres   that   having   sought   immunity   from   death   from   gods,   demons,   gandharvas,   yakshas,   ogres   and   serpents,   he   had   not   sought   immunity   from   humans.

8,9,10.Ravana   told   the   ogres   that   he   thinks   that   Rama,   son   of   Dasaratha,   to   be   the   human   as   announced   by   Anaranya   when   he   cursed   me   earlier   saying   that   a   man   born   in   Ikshvaku   race   will   exterminate   in   a   battle   the   evil   minded   Ravana,   a   bane   of   the   ogre   race,   alongwith   sons,   ministers,   army,   horses   and   charioteer.
