2   to   6.Rama   standing   on   top   of   the   suvela   mountain   itself   for   a   while   surveyed   in   ten   directions   and   saw   the   city   of   Lanka   built   on   the   lovely   trikuta   mountain   top   by  
Viswakarma   adorned   with   lovely   groves,   well   laid   out,   saw   Ravana   standing   on   top  
of   the   tower,   who   was   difficult   to   approach,   fanned   by   white   whisks,   grgracedwith   a    
triumphal   parasol,   smeared   with   red   sandal   paste,   adorned   with   gem   studded   jewels,  
resembling   a   dark   cloud,   wearing   garments   with   golden   embroidery,   bearing   scars   of  
indentation   made   by   the   tusks   of   Airavata,   with   red   garments   like   the   hare's   blood,  
like   a   mass   of   clouds   covered   by   the   evening   sunshine.

7.Sugriva   rose   suddenly   at   the   sight   of   Ravana   while   the   monkey   chiefs   and   Rama   were   looking.
