Chitra was on, the date
was ninth, the asterism
was Punarvasu, all the five
planets were on their ascendent,
moon was in the Cancer of
the zodiac, Jupiter and
Moon were together rising,
Kausalya gave birth to her
son Sri Rama, who was
worshipped by all the worlds,
endowed with
all celestial
auspicious marks, one half
of the prowess of Lord
Vishnu, a greatly prosperous
one and the ecstasy of
the
Ikshvaku dynasty (9-11).

and other riches were distributed
in thousands to the learned.
After the passage of eleven
days, (the king) named (the
children) in the following
manner (20).
