Thus spake
the family priest to Romapada,
who was in the company
of his ministers: `We have
hit upon this plan, which
is safe. That forest-dweller Rishyasrunga,
given to austerities and
the study of scriptures,
is unaware of women and
sensual pleasures. We shall
bring him to this city
ere long through the objects
of the senses which are
capable of swaying the
minds of people
and may orders be
issued. Let beautiful and
well-decked dames
go thither and
he (Rishyasrunga), being enticed
through various modes, they would
gain respect and bring
him here (2-5).

listened to the family
priest, said: `So be it'.
At that
time the family priest and
those ministers proceeded on
those lines. The beauteous damsels
also, upon hearing this
plan, entered the dense forest

the son of Vibhandaka
(Rishyasrunga) accidentally came to

those beautiful damsels
