(They   _   Kusa   and   Lava)   sang   this   epic   poem   which   is   sweet   for   reading and   singing;  it   comprises   the   seven   varieties   of   musical   rendering,   is   in tune   with   the   rhythm   strings   of   the   Veena,   has   the   three   instruments   of valid   knowledge   and   also   exhibits   the   rasas   viz.   humour,   pathos,   love, valour,anger,   the   terrible   and   the   loathsome  (8-9).
