11.When   Bharata   had   left,   the   army   with   chariots,   horses   and   elephants   marched   with   him,  
though   not   called.   The   citzens   too   followed.

13.Bharata   on   entering   Nandigrama,   quickly   got   down   from   the   chariot   and   said   the

14.Bharata   told   them   that   the   kingdom   was   given   to   him   as   a   sacred   trust   along   with   the  
wooden   sandals   by   Rama   and   that   the   sandals   will   provide   all   their   needs   and   welfare.

15.Bharata   then   bowing   low   with   his   head   to   the   woodan   sandals   and   dedicating   them,   spoke

16.He   told   them   to   hold   the   royal   umbrella   over   the   wooden   sandals   since   he   considered  
them   to   be   the   feet   of   his   brother   and   wanted   righteousness   to   be   established   in   the   kingdom  
by   the   sandals.

18.Bharata   told   them   that   returning   these   wooden   sandals   to   Rama's   feet,   he   will   quickly  
behold   the   feet   placed   on   the   sandals.

20.Bharta   told   them   that   restoring   the   kingdom,   the   blessed   sandals   and   ayodhya   to   Rama,
