2.Vasishta   told   Rama   that   for   a   man   born   in   this   world   there   are   three   gurus   viz   the

3.Vasishta   told   Rama   that   the   father   only   procreates   a   man   while   a   preceptor   bestows
knowledge   to   him   and   thus   is   called   a   guru.

4.Vasishta   told   Rama   that   he   was   the   preceptor   for   Dasaratha   as   well   as   Rama   and   thus   by doing   as   ordered,   Rama   will   not   be   deviating   from   the   path   of   virtuous.

5.Vasishta   told   Rama   that   those   assembled   are   his   subjects   and   by   discharging   his   duty   to them   he   will   not   violate   the   path   of   the   virtuous.

6.Vasishta   told   Rama   that   he   ought   to   perform   his   duty   towards   his   aged   mother   and   by doing   so   he   will   not   violate   the   path   of   virtuous.

9,10.Rama   told   Vasishta   that   the   efforts   of   parents   to   bring   up   a   child   by   giving   a   bath   and dressing   up,   speaking   kindly   and   to   train   a   child   to   be   good   cannot   be   requitted.
