1.Observing   Rama   to   be   angry,   Vasishta   told   him   that   Jabali   also   knows   about   birth   and death   in   this   world.

2.Vasishta   told   Rama   that   those   words   were   spoken   to   take   him   back.   Vasishta   asked   Rama to   hear   about   the   creation   of   the   world.

3.Vasishta   told   Rama   that   at   the   beginning   there   was   water   only   all   round   and   the   earth   was created   in   it.   After   that   appeared   the   self-born   Brahma   along   with   other   gods.

4.Vasishta   told   Rama   that   taking   the   form   of   a   divine   boar,   Brahma   lifted   the   earth   out   of water   and   with   his   sons   created   the   universe.

5.Vasishta   told   Rama   Brahma   was   eternal,   everlasting   and   imperishable.   From   him   came

6.Vasishta   told   Rama   that   Vivaswan,   the   sun-god,   descended   from   Kasyapa   and   Manu   was Vivaswan's   son.   Manu's   son   was   Ikshvaku.
