Men without scruples appear physically
like human
beings. Such similarity is not to be
found elsewhere (other related species where differences are obvious-eg cats
and tigers-also suggesting that inwardly they are not human) (1071).

The unscrupulous person will submit
only to one who twirls his arms or breaks his jaws; towards others he will
not shake his fingers still wet after a meal (reference to the miser who
won't let even a crumb fall from his hand) (1077).
