61.Ignorance is a snakebite that can be cured only by the realization of Brahman.
 The Vedas, the Scriptures, herbs and chants provide no cure.

62. Illness is cured by taking medicine,not by uttering the word `Medicine'. Brahman must be sought in experience, not in the word.

63.   Liberation comes when this apparent universe is removed from your consciousness. The word Brahman is a mere sound that does not liberate.

65.  The truth of the Atman is buried in Maya and its effects, like a treasure buried in the earth. You acquire the treasure, not by exhorting it to come out, but by digging correctly and taking possession of it. So too Brahman may be reached  and attained  by meditation and other spiritual disciplines, not by speech or argument.

66. As one personally seeks remedies for illness, so too one must pesonally strive for liberation from bondage.

67.   Your question today is the right one.It is central to the Scriptures, but the meaning lies hidden as in an aphorism. All who seek liberation, must ask this question.

69.   The   first   step  is detachment from all things that are declared transient. Follow this with practice of tranquility, self-control and forbearance, and with renouncing all actions that spring from personal, selfish desire or motive.

70.   Follow this with hearing the truth of the Atman and reflecting on it unremittingly, till one reaches a state where differences of subject and object disappear and only a single infinite consciousness remains.This is the bliss of Nirvana to be known in this lifetime itself.
