Those enlightened
ones with Vasishta in the
lead, upon hearing those words
that came from the mouth
of the king, acclaimed `good,
good'. Also growing extremely joyous,
all of them addressed Dasaratha
thus: ` Oh! king! You
are going to beget sons
as you desire, by all
means, since your thoughts have
flown in this righteous
direction.May the materials needed
(for the rituals) be gathered.
May the sacrificial horse
be set free on
its wandering mission. May the
sacrificial ground also be
fixed on the banks
of river Sarayu (10-12).
